Happy New Year, everybody! 

Writer, teacher and - most importantly - mother, I chose my profile name because, if I have the slightest opportunity, I will wriggle out of actually getting on and writing - much as I love it!

As well as joining Hubpages, I've also recently launched several websites.

I'm hoping that the chance to do lots of short bursts of writing will help me get a bit more disciplined!

As well as hubbing and blogging, I'm also working on a new book for children, as well as a few other things.

I'm a Primary school teacher (7-8 year olds, this year), as well as being my school's SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and Modern Foreign Language coordinator (teaching Spanish at the moment).

I have a degree in French and English (Uni/London), and a PGCE.  I'm currently studying for my SENCo award.

I have three children - a daughter (8) and two sons (6 and 4).  I live in Essex (UK).
